Job description: Role: Housing Systems Officer
Location: Charnwood, LE11
Work pattern: 37 hrs, Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00
Start date: 03/06/2019
Contract Type: Ongoing contract

I'm looking for a Housing Systems Officer to join a great company on an ongoing basis. In this role you will be helping the Housing Systems Team Leader in management, control, security and future development of the Integrated Housing Management System (IHMS). You will also be the systems administrator for the Choice Based Letting System (CBLS) and Civica (Flare) system. You will have an aptitude for analytical work and project based tasks as well as being able to identify and specify end-user requirements.

Key Responsibilities
*You will administer the CBLS, providing support to systems users, including creating and maintaining user accounts, ensuring service continuity and working with system users.
*As the systems administrator you will maintain and develop the Civica computer system.
*You will be responsible for initial helpdesk support for all modules and to all users of IHMS and CBLS.
*You will provide key system functions to users of IHMS and CBLS including user logons and passwords, individual access rights and tailoring menus.
*You will contribute to reducing or eliminating business risks related to key functions within IHMS and CBLS.
*As part of the Housing Management System team you will ensure the effective operation and supply of software to secure business continuity.
*You will contribute to ensuring system security an integrity and the effective management, protection and confidentiality of personal, financial and commercially sensitive data held on behalf of customers, contractors and the council.
*You will be responsible for logging and progressing fault reports with the relevant software suppliers.

*You will hold or be working towards a higher national qualification or degree in a relevant IT discipline.
*You will have experience of using and manipulating relational databases.
*You will have experience of end-user software applications.
*You will have an aptitude to identify and resolve operational issues.
*Experience of working with IHMS, CBLS and Civica.
