Job description: Job title: Housing Team Administrator
Location: Sevenoaks (TN13)
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly Rate: £10.42 per hour
Contract Type: 6 months temporary (potential permanent after this period)
Driver: Access to own vehicle will be beneficial
Weekly Hours: 37 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday, 09:00am - 05:00pm

We would like an experienced administrator person with good communication skills, used to working with and assisting a team of approximately 12 people. There will be a diverse workload that may include scanning and filing documents, taking charge of the team email inbox and passing on tasks to other team members, liaising with our tenants on the telephone, or projects involving driving out to our housing stock.

*Assist the allocations team to make the best use of homes whether through housing registers, mutual exchange, transfers, decants and under occupation.
*Provide an effective administrative support to the team.
*Provide clear and accurate information to internal and external customers, taking into account their individual circumstances, so they receive a genuine and positive experience.
*Deliver an excellent service to our customers, answering queries and directing requests where appropriate to team members.
*Provide a point of contact between the allocations team and other departments within the organisation.

Person Specification
*Experience in the housing sector
*Experience of delivering a positive, consistent customer focused service.
*The ability to liaise with colleagues, tenants and external stakeholders.
*Proven communications, interpersonal and written skills adaptable to all audiences.
*The ability to work using your own initiative and work as part of a team.
*Ability to prioritise competing commitments and work accurately and methodically under pressure, whilst delivering excellent performance against agreed objectives.
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight timescales.
*A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher.
*Confident in learning and using in-house bespoke systems.
*An understanding of what constitutes excellent customer service.
