Job description: Job title - HR Business Partner
Location - Seaham, SR7
Contract - Temporary
Salary - £30,674 to £31,769
Hours - Full Time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
Start Date - ASAP

Job Purpose:
To assist in leading the delivery of a proactive and customer focused HR and OD service across the wider company. To provide effective support, guidance and advice to managers and staff members and deliver operational people projects and initiatives that maximise performance and enable all employees to engage and contribute to the development of the group.

*To actively contribute to the delivery of an effective, customer focused operational HR and OD service, including deputising for the Senior HR Business Partner as appropriate.
*To support the implementation of the company's people plans by pro-actively working with staff and line managers to develop a culture of responsibility and accountability for front line human resources management and embed a performance culture.
*To advise, guide and coach managers on all people issues and to design appropriate solutions and action to help build capacity and produce effective business outcomes.
*To be responsible for HR and OD operational projects including restructuring, change management and operational team initiatives, ensuring that outcomes are delivered in line with project milestones, represent value for money and that resources are managed effectively.
*To proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through business knowledge and intelligence to inform changes and solutions to improve the delivery of the HR & OD service across the organisation on a day to day basis for our customers.

Knowledge & Experience:

*Generalist experience in a multi-disciplinary organisation in the provision of HR and OD business partnering to a wide range of internal customers.
*Successful delivery of effective HR and OD business solutions and strategies.
*Managing end to end HR and OD projects.
*Effective management of casework including discipline, grievance, performance and absence.
*Successfully managing projects including milestones, risks and resources.
