Job description: Job Title: HR Learning and Development Coordinator
Location: Manchester M21
Pay Rate: £10.49 per hour
Hours per week: 35
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 3 Months (potentially longer)

Reporting to the Head of OD & Talent, the L&D Coordinator will be accountable for the end to end co-ordination of a range of training programmes; ensuring that each programme is managed efficiently, delivered on time and to a high standard, within the agreed budget, and that any issues are promptly identified and resolved appropriately. Providing an excellent learning and development advisory service to colleagues and managers the L&D coordinator will act as a key point of referral for the OD team, resolving customer queries at the first point of contact and identifying opportunities for service improvement. The role will additionally involve designing and delivering mini masterclasses and training sessions, completing learning evaluation and participating in relevant adhoc project work to help support the delivery of our people strategy and creation of a true learning culture.

*Knowledge of different learning methods and interventions.
*Knowledge of different learning styles and how to accommodate these.
*Working knowledge of colleague appraisal and PDP processes.
*Understanding of training needs analysis.
*Experience of providing L&D related advice, support and guidance.
*Experience of planning/coordinating colleague engagement initiatives.
*Experience of working within a fast paced L&D or HR department.
*Experience of planning and administrating large one off corporate events.
*Experience of planning and administrating complex/long term training programmes.
*Experience of delivering 1:1 systems or soft skills training/coaching.
*Experience of delivering group training sessions.
*Experience of designing training materials or session plans.
