ICT Asset Recorder - Shropshire

Job description: My client, a local authority, is looking for someone to join their ICT team as an Asset Recorder in Shropshire on an initial 3 month contract.

The applicant must have at least 1 year of experience working within an admin role, ideally within the public sector and the ability to accurately record and present complex information in a clear and concise format.

The purpose of the position is to catalogue the IT assets (PC's, monitors, mobile devices etc.) throughout the my clients offices and report this back to the ICT Team in order to facilitate their ongoing support of the services ICT infrastructure. As part of this role, you will be interacting with a variety of departments, including those that work directly with the public, and you will be required to travel to the different office buildings to ensure the entire service is catalogued.
