Job description: Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an ICT Senior Solutions Delivery Lead to be based at Hindlip Hall on a Fixed Term Contract until June 2021.

The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for the delivery of the ICT technical work packages for the ICT Programme of Work which supports the wider business-led Programme of Change Projects or Programmes.

Responsibilities:
-To lead an ICT Solution Delivery Team, which may consist of a mix of internal and external resources, with responsibility for the end-to-end scheduling, resourcing, management and delivery of multiple technical work packages including the management of direct reports and processes.
-To ensure that ICT and overall organisational business objectives/outcomes are maximised, risks are managed and that technical delivery issues/problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
-To create and manage the required Test and Quality Assurance (QA) environment(s) for the technical solutions in delivery and ensuring that pre-launch defects are correctly prioritised and resolved in a timely manner to meet the agreed timescales.
-To own and manage the overall agreed ICT solution delivery of work packages at portfolio, programme and project plan level, using industry standard project/programme management tools and processes for the approved ICT Programme of Work, ensuring that all work packages are delivered as documented in the agreed statement of work.

Experience:
-To be educated to level 5 or equivalent in an ICT related discipline.
-Programme and Project management certification or substantial experience (e.g. Prince2, MSP).
-Professional level 5 management qualification, or equivalent, with proven team and supplier management knowledge.
-Strong technical background and exposure to a wide range of technology platforms and solutions, ideally having worked in supplier relevant roles.
-Knowledge and understanding of Industry Best Practice and relevant Guidelines.
-Significant experience in project, programme and portfolio management - especially in scope, performance, cost control, delivery, scheduling, resourcing, risk management and demand management.
-Significant experience of financial control, reporting and monitoring - relating to in-scope portfolio, programme and/or project(s) delivery e.g. "project finance books".
