Job description: My client, a local authority, is currently seeking a an ICT Support Officer to work on an initial 6 month contract in Stafford.

Successful candidates will ideally need to have experience rolling out new PC desktops and laptops, this will include full user setups. Currently my client is using Windows 10 and Office 365, so experience with these would be necessary.

Candidates should have a hands on ability to assist in connecting devices to Cisco networks, working as part of the network team. Ability to help troubleshoot connectivity issues would be of benefit. Candidates will also be offered the opportunity to join an on-call rota support group for the duration of the contract.

You will also be expected to deal with 1st line support for the new users of the new computers, and troubleshoot issue's that they have over the phone and also face to face.
