Job description: An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a large housing association based in Cambridgeshire. My client is seeking a highly experienced Income Management Team Leader to join their team in Peterborough

The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery and operational management of a successful income management team and maximising the income stream in to the company. Your responsibilities in this role will include the following:
-Line management of eight income advisors and two income assistants, ensuring individual and team objectives are achieved
-Managing recovery process on debts owed to the client in line with systems and processes
-Maximising income collection across all tenancies; including former tenants, leasehold and shared ownerships
-Directly responsible for income collection over a defined geographical location, measured by targets and timelines
-Work with Specialist Intervention and ASB teams to secure mutually beneficial outcomes for tenants
-Act as primary liaison on complex cases, using judgement to make decisions and interpret legislation

The Candidate:
To be successful in this role, it is absolutely essential that you have previous Income Management experience, ideally within a managerial role, or with sufficient experience and knowledge to make the step up to management. You will require a knowledge and understanding of income collection and legal debt recovery processes and have strong decision making skills. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to ensure target delivery and monitor performance and motivate employees to achieve individual and team targets.

The Client:
The client is a large Cambridgeshire based housing association with over 11,000 homes. In this position you will be one of two Income Management Team Leaders under one manager, overseeing the work of eight Income Management Advisers and two Income Assistants.

The Contract:
This a permanent, full-time role offering a highly competitive salary and car allowance.
