Job description: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday with some on call cover required. Working with the duty team on a rota basis.

Based at our clients office in West Central London.

The post is open to female applicants only as being female is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

The successful candidate will work within a crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to help women whom housing and risk of tenancy breakdown is a factor.

They will advise women on criminal justice matters and assist them to court where necessary. They will hold a caseload of survivors and work with them to establish positive and proactive working relationships with housing agencies, drug and alcohol services and partner agencies within the service.

Will also be dealing with young people who are victims of or involved within Domestic Violence. It will include group work, 1:1 sessions, conducting referrals and doing assessments.

Post holder will be required to provide high quality telephone and face to face crisis intervention, information and advocacy.

Post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
