Job description: My client, a local authority, is currently requiring an Interface Analyst to work on an initial 3 month contract in Bournemouth.

Job spec:

* validate interface and portal requirements
* document work packages and dependencies
* configure developed systems interfaces in client/server and cloud environments
* work closely with systems project teams to test configured interfaces
* document all interfaces from requirements through to configuration and support
* utilise integration tools within our own core system and approved third party toolsets
* interpret and work to recognised integration standards
* identify potential obstacles and resolve issues which would impact project completion.
* document portal requirements and plan data flows into and out of the core systems
* validate portal solutions ensuring industry best approach is followed
* liaise with clients to assist their understanding of future data flow solutions
* work with key users and stakeholders to identify and resolve data issues
* conduct a post implementation review of the integration exercise
* support colleagues tasked with interrelated activities
* assist in the creation of a go live support package for the business, including floorwalking
* document post go live snagging issues and support the error resolution process as required

Person spec:

* you will have a good all round knowledge of open APIs and the technologies involved
* you will have a good working knowledge of xml and web services including http
* you will present technical information in an audience appropriate way
* you will be able to add a valuable contribution when discussing best approach and risk mitigation
* you will be able to share your knowledge with others in order to increase productivity
* you will have a buoyant personality with a can do attitude to work in a highly challenging environment
* you will have a positive approach to change in general and be a positive influence on those around you
* you will be methodical in organising work across a broad ranges of business areas
* you will be friendly, approachable and presentable with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* you will be able to work as part of a team but with minimal supervision
* you will have the ability to coach and mentor team members regarding integration methods and technologies
* you will be able to encourage and nurture a joined up approach to integration and portals
* you will be able to work under pressure and organise your own time effectively
* you will cope well with project changes and version control
* you will be able to pick up new skills outside of your immediate discipline in order to assist colleagues with related tasks
* you will have good interpersonal skills and be able to liaise with staff at various levels of seniority and understanding
* knowledge and/or experience of social care case management systems desirable
* knowledge and/or experience of CareWorks RAISE and/or Corelogic MOASIC desirable
* knowledge and/or experience of public sector related messaging standards, including HL7 desirable
* knowledge and/or experience of public sector integration desirable, particularly across social care, education and early help
