Job description: We are currently working on behalf of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham to assist in recruiting for this role.

Job Purpose
*The main purpose of this post is to build on the work undertaken to date to produce a final draft report of the LGBT+ Needs Assessment for publication.
*The postholder may be required to undertake additional duties relating to policy development, research, communications in relation to equalities and/or public health.

Specific Accountabilities of the Role
*Building on the work undertaken to date on this LGBT+ needs assessment to work to the project lead, steering group, key stakeholders to produce a final draft of the report for sign off by the LGBT+ Needs Assessment Steering Group. This will include report editing, taking complex information from a variety of sources and any additional research requirements.
*Project management of the project for the duration of this contract: accountable to the project lead, Director of Policy and Participation and LGBT+ Needs Assessment Steering Group. This will include developing a project plan, timelines and ensuring the agreed outputs are delivered on time, within budget and to the expected standard.
*Engage with the council colleagues and key stakeholders in producing verbal and written communications as agreed with the Project Lead, Director of Policy and Participation and Steering Group where appropriate. This may include face to face meetings, phone calls, briefing papers for members, public communications

In order to apply you would ideally hold a post graduate master degrees and have research experience, quantitative and qualitative as well as writing experience. The project management experience is less essential.
