Job description: Service Care Solutions are looking for a team of Investigation Officers to work a major contract in Manchester, North West England.

To provide investigative support to Operation Manteline, the Counter Terrorism Policing North West's response to the recent terrorist attack at the Manchester Evening News Arena. This will include taking responsibility for evidence gathering, witness or suspect interviewing, disclosure, media viewing, file preparation and submission, management of cases as directed by the SIO or Coroner and support to victims or survivors and associated enquiries. Additionally there will be a requirement to perform roles within the Major Incident Room as directed by the SIO.

This is a Civilian Investigator (ex-officer) role, meaning that candidates must have worked directly for a UK based police force in order to be considered.

The day to day responsibilities will be to understand and provide administrative support for the core functions of the Major Incident Team in accordance with MIRSAP, answer telephone enquiries, obtain and accurately record information and complete and submit messages into the Incident Room. To record and maintain accurate financial records and expenditure.
And to act as an Investigating Officer within a Major Incident Room, investigating allocated 'actions' as required and gathering evidence to the required standards in support of coroner and prosecution cases, the investigative terms of reference and SIO policy

To be considered for this position, applicants must have experience in the following:
- Investigative experience whilst working for a UK based Police Force
- Be trained to at least PIP Level 1 (Interviewing)
- Experience of working as a Detective (Constable or Sergeant)
- Experience of working within MIT (Major Investigation Team)
