Job description: Job Title: IT Analyst Support
Locations: Ashford, TN23 (homeworking under government guidelines)
Contract Type: 9-12 months' temp contract
Work Pattern: Part Time - 14 hours per week over 2 days (days flexible)
Start Date: March 2021

Our client is looking for a part time IT Analyst Support to provide assistance within the service on data management and digital transformation. You will be responsible for assisting in reviewing, identifying and suggesting process improvements in order to maximise and realise IT efficiency across the service as well as translating and implementing improvements in service software.

Key Functions
*To assist the IT Analyst - Planning, with coordinating maintenance on service software, ensuring provisions are made for backups of data in line with the service's data retention schedule and GDPR legislation. Proactively checking server space is maintained to optimum levels
*To ensure the planning service's software data is managed appropriately and efficiently in line with service data retention policies.
*To maintain software documentation, templates and coding in order to ensure they meet the needs of the service
*Under the direction of service managers, assist in creating statistical and workload management reports for the service using the most appropriate reporting tools available seeking further clarification and direction from senior officers on legislative requirements when the need arises.
*To keep accurate logs of reports held and maintenance information i.e. last update and reason.
*To ensure access to reports is facilitated in line with department requirements and policy.
*To assist with data extraction in a timely manner from service software where required/requested in order to meet a service or corporate need.

Essential Criteria:
*Strong and demonstrable database administration skills and experience
*SQL programming qualification and/or experience
*Experience in working to tight deadlines
