Job description: My client, a local authority, is seeking an IT business analyst with knowledge of the new GDPR to work on an initial 3 month contract in Cheshire.

A highly experienced Business Analyst with knowledge of the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) requirements.
Working with the Project Manager and other Business Analyst resource the post holder will be required to:
1. Analyse the existing (as is) business processes for the assigned Services. Understanding the current situation (getting up to speed, stakeholder engagement internal and external with workshops/briefings as required).

2. Support the business areas in the definition of the new working practices required to meet the GDPR definition.

3. Document inter-dependencies and interfaces between linked IT systems and business processes.

4. Define business requirements (based on engagement with each of the service areas/stakeholders)

5. Define technical requirements (collating via ICT strategy security/technical personnel and ICT Services)

6. Production of documentation including functional and non functional requirements in suitable format.

7. Co-ordinating input from various stakeholders.

8. Involvement in reviews and modifications to documentation

9. Involvement in project/status meetings and other relevant inputs as required.
