Job description: I am currently recruiting for an IT finance system developer to work in Watford.

This role is initially for 6 months and falls outside IR35.

Candidates will provide high level development, support, expertise, insight and analysis, in an efficient and effective way, to enable the operation, maintenance and development of the TM1 Financial Reporting system in accordance with the agreed service level targets. By working with stakeholders from across the organisation to identify ways in which TM1 could be improved to help the organisation to deliver its business objectives.

Specifications:

1.By supporting the development and maintenance of TM1, as the key financial reporting tool.

2.By utilising expertise to implement, administer and develop TM1 Solutions to support all parts of the organisation whilst ensuring a high level of data structure and control.

3.By being a technical lead within the specialist area of TM1 expertise for development projects, designing and guiding the implementation of their requirements, ensuring an efficient and supportable implementation, including preparation of documentation and training for other staff.

4.Investigate corporate data requirements, developing requirement specifications, establishing or maintaining appropriate data structures and working with users in defining acceptance tests.

5.Investigate and resolve underlying problems with existing setup.

6.Design, code, test, correct and document moderately complex programs and program modifications from supplied specifications, using agreed standards and tools.

7.By working with other specialist officers to manage and maximize capacity of corporate financial systems or to recommend corrective action, when service levels are threatened or breached. Responsibility for regular business-as-usual tasks such as data loads, reconciliations and database maintenance.

8.By planning, managing, testing, releasing and implementing significant changes to TM1, including providing additional support to business transformation projects or group technology led change projects. Ensuring that effective change control is maintained, and records and documentation produced.

9.By continuing professional development through research and keeping abreast of latest developments and relevant legislation, which can be utilised to provide advice and guidance to maximise the use of TM1 and processes and to continuously improve the service provided.

10.By operating as the technical lead in the delivery of TM1 change projects.

11.By championing the use of TM1, providing training and support to line managers on the use and to demonstrate how to make certain transactions within the system and how to extract reports. To be available for queries relating to this.
