Job description: I am currently recruiting for an IT Service Desk Administration Officer to work in Taunton.

This role is initially for 3 months and does fall inside IR35.

My client require a Service Desk and Administration Officer, responsible to the Infrastructure Manager/Technical Architect. Requirements as follows:

Specific for this job:

* Temporary F/T role for 6 months
* Word, Excel and Outlook skills essential / SharePoint experience desired by not essential
* Excellent interpersonal skills face to face and over the phone
* Enthusiastic, proactive, confident and organised
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

* To assist in the delivery of the ICT service to all staff, including creation of guides to enable users to develop their own skill set:

- Desktop PCs
- Laptops
- Telephone System (8x8)
- Printers
- Smart Devices
- Desktop Applications
- User Accounts

* To undertake surveys of ICT Assets and maintain the ICT Asset Management Database and advise on any licence compliance issues

* Finance administration including purchase order and invoice creation, processing and internal recharging.

* Liaison with 3rd party suppliers to track requests and logged issues.

* Support the delivery of the ICT & Information, Transformation or Accommodation Teams activities and actions, and as required, support project leads with specific hands on/technical activities and actions.

* To support the other members of the ICT service in the delivery of their duties
