Job description: Job Title: Junior Housing Assistant
Locations: Epsom, KT17
Contract Type: Permanent
Work Pattern: Monday-Friday 37 hours per week
Start Date: November 2020
Salary: up to £25,000 per year + training package

A new opportunity has become available for a Junior Housing Assistant to work alongside the Customer Experience, Income and Neighbourhood Teams to provide a high quality service to both internal and external customers. Through first-hand experience of delivering customer facing services and an opportunity to complete a Housing qualification you will gain a broad knowledge of housing management services.

Main tasks and duties -

*Respond to all resident contact in line with our Customer Offer
*Provide administrative assistance for all three teams
*Assist with large mail outs
*Act as an ambassador by building and maintaining positive relationships with all residents and stakeholders
*Deliver an effective and appropriate service to all residents fairly and without discrimination
*Maintain accurate record keeping
*Assist with any allocated projects
*Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve services
*Attend meetings and training courses as required

Essential Criteria:
*Experience working within Social Housing
*Evidenced experience of working in a customer facing role
*Experience of handling challenging customers and situations in a compassionate and sensitive manner
*Excellent IT skills, including use of Word and Excel
*Excellent communication skills
