Job description: Lead Education Officer for Special Educational Needs

Service Care Solutions are looking for a Lead Education Officer to work within Knowsley Council.

The role is full time (36 hours per week) on a 3 month rolling contract and is an immediate start.

Key features
*Leading on the delivery and monitory of statutory assessment processes including the production of Education Health and Care plans (preparing, drafting and issuing).
*Play a significant role in the quality assurance and development of inclusive provision and practice for individual children and young people.
*Take lead responsibility for individual case work for children and young people.
*Work closely with parents and carers at each stage of the SEND process.
*Liaise with a wide range of agencies in local authorities and its partners.
*This role is ideal for qualified teachers with SEN experience or SENCO's

The pay rate for this role is £20.87 per hour.
Requirements
*Enhanced DBS
*Relevant professional qualification in education, health or social care
*SEN experience
