Job description: Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting an experienced Lead Nurse to work within a Registered Nursing Home in Lancashire. The main site is based within beautiful, tranquil grounds located just a few minutes from motorway networks.

The Nursing Service provides care and support to 8 residents with complex needs and learning difficulties. We are looking to recruit an experienced, committed and reliable Registered Lead Nurse to work within their small nursing home delivering high quality care and management. Working alongside an experienced team leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of 6 nurses and 14 support staff.

Salary: £32,000 per annum
Weekly Hours: 37.5hr Flexible Rota and Alternative Weeks On Call
CQC: Rating Good

Key Responsibilities:
*Day to day management of staff and services ensuring appropriate resourcing and management in line with service policy
*To undertake initial and ongoing assessments of residents and work in partnership with family, external agencies
*Responsible for effective management and performance of teams
*Participate in person centred planning and reviews ensuring all objectives are met
*To cover nursing shifts as required by the service
*To take lead role in liaising with teams to design meaningful activities that achieve desired outcomes for the people we support

Key Skills/Experience:
*Nursing Qualification
*Experience of managing a team & strong leadership experience
*Experience of working in a nursing environment
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures
*Excellent knowledge and understanding of Person Centred Planning principles and practices
*Ability to lead, motivate and challenge staff as appropriate
*Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) Certificate on the online update service would be highly beneficial
