Job description: A Housing Association in South East London is currently looking for a Lead Performance Analyst to work in a choice of one of their offices in either Lewisham, Havant, or Chichester.

You will provide support to the internal Property Service Team, and ensure that performance is understood, with any under-performance reported, highlighted, and actively managed.

The Role/Duties:

* Coach staff to perform basic performance analysis, ensuring local performance is monitored on a day-to-day basis.

* Co-ordinate production of monthly performance management updates to the Senior Management Teams.

* Complete gap analysis with Service Heads and Contract Managers. Where performance is below target, ensure drivers are clearly understood and appropriate corrective actions implemented.

* Solve complex problems using statistical techniques.

* Carry out forensic analysis of budgets to monitor trends in spend. Provide informed recommendations to the BP manager and Heads of Service in order to inform budget setting and forecasting.

* Co-ordinate the team's support to the department in the use of Business Objects Web Intelligence.

* Actively test, communicate and act upon the strengths and weaknesses of the team's data processes, involving customers and colleagues.

* Work in tandem with others in Property Services to co-ordinate and lead on shared Insight/Performance projects.

* Deliver a professional standard of reports and presentations for audiences up to Director Level to communicate performance insights that are relevant, timely and easy to digest.

* Deputise for the BP Manager on performance matters as required including attending meetings.

* Work alongside the BP Manager to develop and promote an innovative and collaborative culture across the Strategy and Business Intelligence function.

* Ensure that data used for performance reporting is scrutinised within the BP team.


About you:

* You will have in-depth experience as a Lead Analyst, as well as knowledge and skills analysing trends, forecasts and budgets.

* Work independently with minimal guidance.

* Determine own work priorities with high attention to detail.

* Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

* Confident in report writing.

* Ability to communicate messages to all levels of stakeholders.

* Build expertise of analysts in technical software (Excel, Visual Basic and Business Objects) and analytical methodologies.

* Business Objects system is desirable.
