Job description: An exciting opportunity has arose working in Hammersmith and Fulham as a Leasehold Income Support Officer, this will require the individual to manage a patch of properties that requires responsibility for maximising income from leasehold and freehold service charges, including major works bills as part of a small team collecting in excess of £15m per year. Other roles will included:

*Operate in a commercial environment to ensure that alongside maximising income, brilliant customer care is provided at all times with the outcomes including contributing to increasing resident satisfaction. Work closely with the Major Repairs, Housing Services, Property Services, Finance and other relevant areas of the Council to ensure leaseholders and relevant freeholder's questions about invoices are responded to.
*Work to carry out all relevant operational and legal processes to ensure leasehold and freehold service charge income is maximised in line with statutory regulations, council policy, operational procedures, court pre-action protocol and performance indicators.
*The job purpose includes working with external organisations such as debt advice agencies, credit unions, Law Centres and Social Care teams where appropriate.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role you must have experience and an understanding of leasehold recovery and debt collection/arrears recovery in a housing environment. A in depth knowledge of pertinent landlord and tenant acts, housing acts and how they relate to this job role.

The Contract
This is a contact starting ASAP up to 29th March 2019, working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
