Location:
London or Essex (candidate preference)

Salary: £37, 000 (Salary will be increased for London)

Contract Type: Permanent

Requirements:

  • Experience in implementing and managing Section 20 consultation.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act (as amended) and The Service Charges (Consultation Requirements) (England) Regulations 2003.


About the role
Are you experienced and knowledgeable on Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act? Are you looking for a great opportunity within a reputable Housing Association with great working hours?

We're currently looking for a Leasehold Management officer to undertake S20 consultation with residents and oversee Swan's contract with our appointed agent managing the commercial leasehold portfolio.

The right individual would be dealing with all aspects of formal consultation for major works and service contracts to fully comply with Section 20 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985 (as amended) to ensure full recovery of Swan's incurred costs and be the main contact point for the agent responsible for the day to day management of our commercial leasehold units.
The role requires an understanding of relevant legislation and a strong eye for detail. The officer will manage conflicting priorities, work to deadlines as well as advise on varying commercial and residential leasehold issues.
