Job description: To provide a customer first management service to a portfolio of properties. The portfolio includes a range of tenures including shared ownership, Open Market HomeBuy, leasehold, freehold Right To Buy and Right To Acquire. To ensure services delivered are within required service standards and target timescales.

Responsible for providing a first point of contact for leasehold services and to ensure effective, accurate and timely advice and support is given for customers enquiring or buying under the Right to Buy and Right to Acquire initiative. Liaise with customers' solicitors and local offices in relation to applications received or any subsequent queries. Ensure all procedures are followed with regard to the sale of the property, and all lease covenants and apportionments are accurate. Ensure full and accurate information is given to clients on service charge obligations, services and charges.

Maximise collection of rent and service charge payments, providing timely advice and support where customers are experiencing difficulties. Work with Lenders and other agencies to ensure arrears levels are maintained below target.

Work with colleagues before the sale of any new scheme to ensure that service charges are set appropriately and cover all aspects of the landlord's obligation.

On all new schemes and new RTB /RTA properties ensure that the lease /transfer agreement contains the appropriate covenants and apportionments, and the demised property is accurate, before any sale completion takes place.

Carry out consultation exercises as required by legislation, and or when requested by the manager.
