Job description: This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join the contracts team within the corporate department of a Local Authority in London. You must have previous experience dealing with contracts.

The day to day role will involve providing legal and administrative support to the Solicitors at the Council, including the formalisation of contracts for goods and services. The role will include drafting and negotiating simple contract terms and reviewing and drafting template agreements.

The ideal candidate will:
*Have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally from the public sector but private practice or in-house experience will be considered
*Have a minimum of 1 years' experience formalising agreements for goods and services
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, have the ability to compile reports, correspondence, presentations and maintaining spreadsheets
