Job description: We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary in Birmingham.

A private law firm are looking for a Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join the existing team and provide secretarial support to the Residential Conveyancing solicitors. An in-depth knowledge of residential conveyancing is required for this position, and it is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to develop their experience as a Legal Secretary in conveyancing.

The key responsibilities of the role would include:
*Preparing and managing legal documents surrounding residential conveyancing such as AP1, AP2, transfer of titles and other residential conveyancing transactions
*Digital dictation, audio typing and copy typing
*General secretarial administrative duties such as diary management, arranging appointments and liaising with clients in a confident and friendly manner
*Administering of filing systems, ensuring correspondence and all files are kept up to date

In this role, essential experience would be:
*It is essential that you have at least 2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary in Residential Conveyancing
*Strong and accurate audio typing skills, a minimum of 50wpm required
*A good knowledge of IT packages such as Microsoft Office software package and case management systems
