Job description: I am currently recruiting for Lifeline Officer (Nights) based in Leamington Spa. This a 32 hour a week role working shifts of 22:00 to 06:00.

The main purpose of the role is to provide a monitoring and response services that operates 24/7 365 days of the year to customers in their own homes with a WDC Lifeline. This service helps to ensure that our customers can sustain their tenancies and remain independent, living in their own homes.

Your day to day duties will include :

*Ensure that calls received and made at the Lifeline Control Centre are dealt with efficiently, professionally and that the officer remains calm in an emergency situation. All follow up work relating to each call should be done quickly and accurately, including clear notes added to the customer's record.
*Preparing 'Welcome packs' paperwork for next days appointments and process mail orders received Carrying out allocated tasks and admin duties as directed by Housing Support and Lifeline Team Leader
*Responsible for stock control, including returned stock is cleaned and prepared for reuse or scrapped. Adding new stock to the system, picking stock needed for next days appointments and adhoc physical stock takes to check for anomalies on the system.
*To provide an emergency response where appropriate from a call for assistance received at the Control Centre, assessing the actual emergency or problem; supporting the work of the emergency services and/or providing other help and assistance that may be necessary in order to achieve the best outcome for the customer at the time
