Job description: ** INCREASED RATES URGENT RESOURCES NEEDED IN AAT, IPSWICH **

We are looking for Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners for a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist Mental Health service based in Suffolk, within the NHS.

The ability to drive is ideal, but not essential.

Temporary pay rate: £26ph

Hours and length of contract:
*The service operates Monday - Friday 08:00-20:00
*Full time or part time available
*Shifts:
o8am-4pm
o12pm-8pm
o8am-8pm (long day)
*Initial 3 month contract (likelihood of extension)
*The manager requires the position to be filled ASAP

Daily Duties:
You will be working as an RMN within the Access and Assessment Team based in Ipswich and working across Suffolk from a variety of clinical bases.
The service is a single point of referral for people aged 25 and over and accepted when:
*A referrer or the family have concerns around the emotional and mental health of an adult
*An individual is displaying signs of suicidal intent or if there seems to be risk of harm to others
*A GP wishes to confirm a diagnosis or implement specialist treatment
*Particular medication is required

You will either be performing face to face assessments or screening and triaging urgent/routine referrals in the duty team. You will be expected to work independently and/or as part of a team depending on the role you are performing, however the service works as a wider multi-disciplinary team and support is available daily.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field.
