Job description: SERVICE CARE SOLUTIONS ARE LOOKING FOR a REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH NURSE IN BIRMINGHAM!

A passionate and dynamic nurse is needed within a newly opened mixed-gender acute wards within a private mental health hospital!

*£150 NEW NURSE SIGN UP BONUS*

Temporary Pay Rate:
*Standard Days: £21.50ph ltd
*Nights & Saturdays: £23ph ltd
*Sundays & Bank Holidays: £24ph ltd

Hours and length of contract:
*Full Time 37.5 hours
*7 day rota covering days and nights
oLong day shifts: 07:30-20:00
oLong night shifts: 19:30- 08:00
o(Early / Late shifts can also be accommodated if required)
*Support on a 24-hour basis therefore flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.
*3 month minimum contract length!
*The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP

Daily Duties:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a newly opened 8-bedded mixed sex acute ward for adults with severe mental health problems.

Responsibilities will include:
*Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, a structured approach to nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse
*Supervising team members and contributing to their overall CPD, mandatory training and appraisal process recognising the skills required across the team
*Monitor and review Nursing Care plans
*Prioritise nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift co-ordination Framework, working as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonably practicable a safe environment

Person specification:
The applicant must be a Qualified Mental Health Nurse currently registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC). It would be beneficial is the applicant had own transport as public transport is limited in the area.
