Job description: Are you a mental health professional looking for a role within a Crisis Team? We currently have the perfect opportunity for you to work within specialist Mental Health service within Norwich!

Role is open to Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.

Temporary Pay Rate Band 6:
*Days: £24ph ltd
*Nights & Saturdays: £30ph
*Sundays & Bank Holidays: £36ph ltd

Hours and length of contract:
*Full time mixed shifts
oLong days: 08:00 - 21:00, 10:00 - 23:00 & 12:00 - 00:00
oNights: 20:30 - 07:15
*Initial 3-month contract (with likelihood of extension)
*The manager requires the position to be filled ASAP
Daily Duties:
You will be working as a part of the Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment (CRHT) to provide emergency assessment and short-term support to service users experiencing a mental health crisis within the community.

Referrals are accepted from the following sources such as:
*Secondary NHS mental health services
*Specialist mental health services
*GPs and Primary Care Practitioners
*Emergency services - including police and the ambulance service
*Mental Health Liaison and Diversion services (either via court or Police Investigation Centers)
*Mental Health Liaison / A & E

You will assess service users experiencing a crisis and also those who have been discharged from hospital but need intensive support. You will determine the most appropriate treatment plan, carry a caseload within the community and also triage any referrals and monitor risk in order to prevent service users from being admitted to hospital.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared and have previous experience in the field.
