Job description: We are looking for Mental Health Nurses (Band 5 & 6) for a range of fantastic opportunities to join specialist Mental Health teams across Norfolk and Suffolk, within the NHS.

Temporary pay rate Band 6:
*Days £24ph
*Nights & Saturdays £30ph
*Sunday & Bank Holidays £36ph

Temporary pay rate Band 5:
*Days £18ph
*Nights & Saturdays £22ph
*Sunday & Bank Holidays £26ph

Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner - position 1
*Driving License required
*Full time Shifts (part time also available)
oEarly: 07:30 to 15:30
oLate: 13:30 to 21:30
oNight: 21:00 to 08:00

*To start ASAP with an initial 3 months contract

Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner - position 2
*Driving License required
*Full time Shifts (part time hours also available)
oEarly: 08:00 to 16:00
oLate: 12:00 to 20:00
oLong day: 08:00 to 20:00

*Older persons mental health (over 25)
*To start ASAP with in initial 3 months contract

Daily Duties:
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary front-line team carrying out mental health assessments with service users who have been referred to the service in crisis, either in their home or within a health care setting. You will be required to assess both the physical and mental health of patients and recommend the most appropriate treatment.
The three wards provide assessment and treatment services for acute mental disorders and rehabilitation including depression, bipolar, psychosis, dementia and crisis resolution.

Band 6 Senior Community Mental Health Worker
Hours and length of contract:
*Driving License required
*Full time Monday to Friday 9-5 (part time hours also available)
*Adult Community Team
*To start ASAP with in initial 3 months contract

Daily Duties:
The service offers support for adults over 25 with severe mental health needs within the community and you will be working as part of the nursing team to provide high quality, evidence-based, holistic nursing care to patients and therefore team working skills are essential. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate packages of care based upon individual service user needs and undertake and maintain service users' Self Directed Support assessments.


Band 5 or 6 Senior Mental Health Nurse
Hours and length of contract:
*Driving License required
*Full time Monday to Friday 9-5
*Adult CMHT
*To start ASAP with in initial 3 months contract

Daily Duties:
You will work both independently and as part of a team to provide high quality patient care, assessing their symptoms and needs and implementing treatment and support.
The service offers psychoeducation, diagnosis and treatment for mental ill health such as:
*Schizophrenia
*Bipolar Disorder
*Severe Depression
*Severe OCD

Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Hours and length of contract:
*Full time Shifts (potential to discuss preference)
*Hospital Ward
*General Mental Health & Acute Adult
*To start ASAP with in initial 3 months contract

Daily Duties:
The service is a 20 bed acute admission ward offering assessment and treatment for users deemed to be experiencing acute mental illness with risks that cannot be managed safely in the community. Patients stay from a few days to a couple of weeks and your role will be to care for the service users, assess and review progression and you will maintain close contact with family members throughout the recovery process.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared for all positions advertised and have previous experience in the field.
