Job description: There is a fantastic opportunity available for Mental Health Practitioners based in Tameside, Greater Manchester.

The role is based at a Healthy Young Minds Clinic and involves working with children. It is initially for a 4-week contract with the opportunity for extension, commencing ASAP.
Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm

Pay Rate: £17-23ph Ltd (dependent on banding and experience)

Main Duties: The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing service users in order to create care plans and provide support. They must also be able to manage their own caseload, in order to efficiently provide the correct treatment and care.

Knowledge of children's safeguarding is essential as the practitioner must be able to identify risks and respond appropriately.

Teamwork skills are essential as the applicant will be working in a multi-disciplinary team.
Person Specification: The applicant must be either a NMC registered Mental Health Nurse, HCPC Registered Social Worker or a BACP Registered Psychologist.

Previous experience working with children and young people is essential.
