Job description: Mental Health Worker, Band 4

Vacancy for a Band 4 Mental Health Worker to join a multi-disciplinary team, treating older aged adults, based in Barnet.

Working as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team the post holder will be responsible for assisting in the provision of therapies for people who need support with managing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, thought disorders and readjustment to emerging circumstances. In addition, the service offers anxiety management and mood management for people with specific needs related to anxiety and mood disorders. High quality care and ensuring standards are the highest possible, are crucial.

The ideal candidate will have an awareness of treatment outcomes, recovery tools, care planning, assessment of risk and have experience in a health or social care setting

Candidates must be a Graduate/Degree holder in Mental Health studies and NVQ Level 4 in care or equivalent OR have two years (minimum) working experience in a mental health setting.

The role is to commence ASAP, working 22.5 hours a week.
The hourly rate for the role is £15 p/h ltd.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a caseload, and to be able to work to complex care plans that can be used to aid patient recovery. The ability to work autonomously and under pressure is essential.
