Job description: Mental Healthcare Assistant

Flexible shifts are available full time or to supplement your current job. The shifts are within NHS hospitals in a ward setting in Lincolnshire. Work also available within surrounding counties if you live further afield.

Are you wanting to join an extensive network of people who are providing first class care to people suffering with mental health conditions whilst working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment?

Your purpose will be to provide support and care for people with mental and physical health needs within a multidisciplinary setting and will undertake assigned tasks under the general supervision of a registered nurse, including assisting in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Promoting a positive experience throughout patient's stay through proactive listening, being responsive and resolving issues and concerns raised is imperative and will form a major part of your focus. You will empower service users by ensuring that they receive relevant information about their treatment, medication, ward routines and safety procedures.

The limited company hourly rates of pay are between £9.00 and £13.00.
