Job description: Neighbourhood Officer ( 2 x Bromley / 2 x Ealing)
A large housing association are recruiting for four Neighbourhood Officers, on a temp-to-perm basis, to be responsible for delivering a high quality housing management service to a defined area of general needs tenants in a patch of approximately 600 properties. 2 Vacancies will be in Bromley (BR1), 2 will be in Ealing (W5)

The Role
The focus of the role will be dealing with all neighbourhood related issues for these 600 properties. As part of this, daily duties will involve carrying out regular estate inspections, dealing with neighbourhood queries, tackling challenging issues such as anti-social behaviour and ensuring appropriate action is taken to deal with issues. Key duties will include:
*To carry out and monitor regular estate inspections, ensures accurate records are maintained and actions taken to deal with issues are dealt with.
*Be the point of contact to resolve and investigate complaints by residents and provide advice and guidance.
*Ensure that the housing management computer system is regularly updated and effective manual record systems are maintained.
*Work as part of the Area Housing Team to ensure that the tenancy management objectives and performance indicators are achieved. Will work alongside other four staff members on the same level and report to the Area Manager.
*Work with diverse tenants who require extra support to appropriate support services.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have excellent housing management experience. A Driving licence is also essential as you may be requested to visit clients however the other schemes are located close the location of this post (there is a company car available). Due to the vulnerable nature of some tenants, you will also require an Enhanced DBS. If you have any experience of using ReACT software.

The Contract
These are full time roles, working 35 hours per week. The contracts are temp-perm, so after 12 weeks, the role will become permanent.
