Job description: A Kent based housing association are recruiting for a Neighbourhood Officer based in Kings Hill, to lead on the delivery of quality consistent and pro-active housing and tenancy management services to a range of tenure types with a view to supporting and strengthening sustainable communities.

The Role
Your key duties within the role will include the following:
*To be the lead local contact for a geographical patch ensuring decisions at a local level are focussed on the customer and core service delivery.
*Lead on delivery of an effective and compliant housing service incorporating all matters of tenancy letting, tenancy management and enforcement
*Lead on patch and property inspections to ensure they are well maintained and managed, present a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors, and are in line with neighbourhood management policy
*Deliver an end to end anti -social behaviour investigation and resolution service for customers and other stakeholders, leading on building and maintaining positive and effective partnerships with other bodies and agencies
*Represent the Association in court, litigation, tribunal or other proceedings
*Achieve timely turnaround of empty properties within key KPI targets Lead on ensuring all properties are re-let promptly ensuring all sign ups and post tenancy contact are completed to achieve customer satisfaction targets and upper quartile re let performance
*Work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing and Development teams to ensure a high quality seamless service delivery to all customers moving in to new homes
*Be responsible for maintaining strong void property turnaround KPI's working with colleagues from allocations and income teams to minimise void and income loss
*Able to manage a variety of tasks and prioritise work according to key performance areas, while maintaining a practical focus on outcomes for the customer and the potential for service
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you must have experience of estate inspections and tenancy management. Experience in accommodation planning and a good knowledge of all legislative and regulatory frameworks. Good knowledge of law and best practice as it relates to the provision of housing services including safeguarding.

The Contract
This is a contact starting ASAP on a 12 week contract leading to a Fixed term contract, working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
