Job description: Job title - Neighbourhood Team Leader
Location - Epsom
Contract - 12 Months FTC
Salary - Up to £37,230 plus car allowance
Hours - 35 hours per week
Start Date: July 2019

My client are looking for an experienced team leader to lead a small team of Neighbourhood Officers and an Estate Services Officer, ensuring all residents receive excellent customer service in all aspects of housing, including tenancy and neighbourhood management.
You will be responsible for motivating, supporting and managing the team, applying policies and procedures regarding tenancy and neighbourhood management, being an active member of the Housing Leadership Team and ensuring that the Team meet monthly Key Performance Indicator targets.
We are looking for a candidate who is strong leader and motivator of people who has operational experience within the housing sector, who possesses excellent communication skills, is an effective negotiator and persuader and is able to work innovatively and inspire others to do so.
Essential Criteria
*Up-to-date knowledge of housing legislation and recent experience of working in a social housing environment.
*Good knowledge and awareness of best practice in the delivery of housing management services
*Understanding of current issues in social housing and welfare reform.
*Excellent, evidenced customer service skills and a "people" focused approach to service delivery
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
*A good understanding of the principles of equality and customer care and delivering diverse services that meet customer needs
*A good standard of computer literacy and ability to use IT packages, contact technology and IT based systems
*The ability to work flexibly including working during the evening or weekend to attend or support meetings or events.
*Able to demonstrate a level of numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE
*Experience of building and sustaining productive relations with key stakeholders, including local authorities, police, social services, etc.

Desirable Criteria
*Member of Chartered Institute of Housing
*A management qualification
