Job description: An opportunity has arisen for a well organised and motivated individual to join the friendly and helpful Corporate Services team in an NHS service in Medway. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational and time keeping skills, and will be comfortable working both as part of a team, and also working individually. You will be working as part of the Corporate Services team, and your role will be to assist with the smooth running of the service's formal meetings. In addition, the post holder will be required to work with colleagues in other NHS services to co-ordinate committee's management processes

Job Title - Corporate Governance Support Manager
Location - Medway
Hours - 5 days a week, 37.5 hours
Contract - 3 Months Ongoing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Supporting the Chair, the Company Secretary, Head of Corporate Governance and the Corporate Governance Team on issues relating to Governing Body governance, ensuring responsibilities are undertaken to the highest standards of probity and according to the statutory and legislative requirements of the regulatory framework and the CCG constitution.

Support and inform the identification of resources, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of the department's objectives by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder management.

Work with the Chair, Company Secretary and Head of Corporate Governance to agree appropriate reporting arrangements to enable the Governing Body to focus on strategic objectives and forward planning.

Support the Head of Corporate Governance to ensure that all Governing Body and Committee meetings are held in accordance with the CCG constitution.

Ensure that accurate records of the meetings of the Governing Body and its committees are captured and published in a timely manner.

Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally

Be responsible for distributing action logs following Governing Body and Committee meetings liaising closely with the Chair, Accountable Officer and Governing Body members to ensure that follow up actions have been completed within the required timescales.

Act as first point of contact for members of the public to raise questions for the Governing Body and committees, referring to or liaising with relevant managers, teams, stakeholders and the Communications team
