Job description: Job Title - NHS Recruitment Assistant
Location - Willerby, Hull
Hours - 37.5 Hours per week 9-5 Monday to Friday
Salary - £11 PH LTD
Contract - 3 Months Ongoing.

An opportunity has arisen for a well organised and motivated individual to support the activities of the NHS Trust's central Resourcing team in undertaking the processes of delivering a comprehensive Recruitment Staffing service ensuring Trust policies and procedures and employment legislation are adhered to. The role of an NHS Recruitment Assistant has many duties, which will include:
*To work as a member of the Human Resources Recruitment Team in the provision of an effective, high quality, recruitment service for the Trust ensuring all administrative duties are undertaken in a timely manner.

*Provide support to colleagues and senior members of the Human Resources Recruitment Team in the establishment of processes and systems of within recruitment services.

*To be the first point of contact for the recruitment team acting as 'duty officer' as required and, as such, be expected to maintain high standards of customer service, courtesy, discretion and confidentiality at all times.

*To support the implementation and maintenance of recruitment management information systems.

*To support the organisation and represent the Trust at Careers Fairs, Recruitment Events and Recruitment Training.

Person Specification

*Good standard of general education to NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience

*Understanding of NHS Employment Check Standards e.g DBS, Right to Work, Identity Checks


*Knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices, legislation drivers and their application to the relevant service area e.g. Recruitment and Selection, Data Protection, Confidentiality, Trust policies and procedures

*Demonstrable experience of recruitment and its administration in a busy environment with changing priorities.

*Excellent customer service experience including handling queries, complaints and sensitive information

*Experience of team working to achieve deadlines and objectives

*Experience of taking responsibility for managing workload and meeting deadlines

*Knowledge of Equality & Diversity legislation in relation to recruitment

*Previous NHS experience

*Previous experience of the Disclosure
