Job description: A national housing association are recruiting for a Concierge & Security Assistant in North Shields to provide a concierge service at one of their social housing schemes in North Shields, for 25 hours per week.

The Role
The focus of this role is to act as an initial point of reference on the phone, or in a reception area as required, this will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
*Use company intranet (RIC), email and other basic correspondence as and when required.
*Implementing day/ night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security on the scheme.
*Respond to faults as discovered.
*Monitor access to schemes and visitors.
*Meeting the requirements of health and safety policies and practices
*Reporting incidents and anti-social behaviour.
*Carry out domestic tasks (cleaning communal areas) to a high standard
*Effective recording of information.
*Implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery
*Advises management promptly of any signs of problems or concerns about a client.
*Reporting repairs to maintenance contractors by using appropriate systems
*Ensure culture and diversity issues for the clients are considered at all times, and report any forms of discrimination.
*Promote and encourage a high level of client involvement, consultation and communication.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have prior experience in a housing support setting, and have a proficiency in Microsoft Office

The Contract
This is a full time role, working nights on a rota basis, covering the recruitment for a permanent employee, meaning the role could become permanent.
