Job description: Night Support Worker - Plymouth.

4 - 6 week contract

Housing Association

DBS - Required to have Enhanced DBS with Adult barring list

Be responsible for the delivery of high quality services at night. Ensure services provided to our clients meet their needs and aspirations and comply with the standards and requirements of the organisation, our regulators and the law.

Assist in the delivery of high quality support in our accommodation services and to report back to day staff any gaps or areas highlighted with regards to their support needs.

Work in partnership with clients to provide the best possible service

*Advise & signpost on tenancy issues, welfare benefits, financial and budgeting matters
*Address practical and emotional needs to enable them to grow in social confidence
*Foster hope and create the conditions in which people can be enabled to live independently and be empowered and to recover meaning, purpose, choice and control in their lives.
*Ensure the safety of clients, staff and the wider community.
*Promote equality, diversity, accessibility and inclusion. Challenge discrimination and stigma and work to the social model of disability.
*Facilitate individual and group sessions with clients and assist with setting these up.
*Record, monitor, evaluate and report on interactions with clients
*Promote our services to interested parties
*Work closely with relevant statutory and voluntary organisations, making sure clients are referred to appropriate agencies
*Support the Staff Team with operational planning, monitoring and evaluation of the service(s)
*Report any property defect or health & safety concerns to the Management as soon as possible and keep records updated as required.
*Ensure that Anti-social behavior is managed, reported and monitored in accordance with policy and procedures.
*Report any Safeguarding issues
*Attend staff Team Meetings where possible
*Attend Training Sessions.
