Job description: Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a new permanent position within the mental health and learning disability field? Service Care Solutions have the perfect opportunity for you within a private supported living service in London!

Salary per annum: £24,500-27000

Hours and length of contract:
*Full time Permanent position: 40 hours per week
*Monday to Friday - 8 hour days
*No set shift pattern, flexibility
*The manager is looking for the position to be filled ASAP

Daily Duties:
You will be working as an OT across community rehabilitation sites within Haringey, Erith and Newham for adults who present with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs.
The role is largely autonomous as you will have the responsibility to decide which services you are going to be visiting on which days.

The role will include but is not limited to:
*Receive delegated referrals from Lead OT, independently manage and prioritise that case load.
*Work autonomously and independently with access to sessional, clinical supervision.
*Devise, implement and evaluate treatment programmes.
*Complete comprehensive assessments of clients, using clinical reasoning to select appropriate assessment techniques which lead you to identify the client's strengths and needs. This will involve seeking and sharing personal and potentially sensitive information with the client.
*Agree appropriate and realistic goals for treatment with the client and so produce a comprehensive treatment plan in order to achieve these goals.
*Delegate appropriate case load to Occupational Therapy Assistants, helping prioritise and ensure programmes of therapeutic activities are implemented.

Person specification:
The applicant must be DBS cleared for the position advertised and have recent experience within the field.
