Job description: Service Care Solutions are advertising on behalf of Penrose Criminal Justice Services for a number of Offender Resettlement Workers across four London prisons. These prisons are HMP's Wandsworth, Belmarsh, Brixton and Pentonville.

Hours: 37.5

Shifts: Monday to Thursday 08.00am to 16.30pm Friday 0800am to 13.30pm

This is a HMP on a Fixed Term Contract until September 2020.

Our aim is to successfully reduce reoffending, rehabilitate and reintegrate offenders back into the community.

We finalise cohesive resettlement plans (BCST3's) generated from the 'Basic custody screening tools' parts 1 and 2, along with historical information and face to face interviews that generate the plans 12 weeks prior to release, we use pathway referrals and 'ORW' Caseload support during this process, providing pathway support with feedback that enables appropriate interventions and support to resettlement needs for all prisoners in both a group and on a 1-1 basis.

We deliver the "Getting It Right" resettlement programme within the prison setting, this programme is based around challenging cognitive thinking, and facilitation of group work is part of the 'ORW' role.

We work with internal and external partners, agencies and commissioners including Prison Service, Community Rehabilitation Companies (CRC's) and the National Probation Service to achieve the desired outcomes and KPI's for the service.

Offender Resettlement Workers will also liaise with other staff in providing support and advice to offenders and be expected to regularly participate in team meetings and other duties deemed relevant by management.

Closing date for applicants is 15th May 2019, anyone wishing to apply for the position will need to complete an application form, which is available by contacting Mike Pollard on mike.pollard@servicecare.org.uk
