Job description: Job Title: Operations System Analyst
Location: Plymouth - PL6
Salary: £30,000 pro rata
Hours: 37 hours per week
Employee Type: Temporary contract 3-6 months (potential perm)

My client have an urgent requirement for an operational System Analyst which has been vacated due to internal progression. While this is a technical vacancy, the successful candidate will be working within the wider business rather than in solely in IT.

Responsibilities -

*Scoping, leading and delivering high quality projects relating to PCH IT and IT-related projects which have a major and long lasting impact on all HN&R staff, and other staff across PCH.
*Acting as an expert link between technical IT specifications and requirements of business use, by bringing or developing a detailed level of technical knowledge of relevant IT systems and detailed knowledge of business processes, and ensuring that implementation, configuration and amendments of new and existing IT systems meet business requirements.
*Developing and maintaining appropriate and accurate performance reporting for relevant areas, and working with business managers to ensure reports are suitable and accurate for performance reporting.
*Where reconfiguration of systems is required to support specific reporting requirements, working with business and IT colleagues to ensure this reconfiguration is accurately specified and delivered to meet the requirements identified.
*Act as technical support within the business for other major projects in progress.
*Designing, reconfiguring and mapping new system functionality to the requirements specifications.

Essential Criteria -

*Proven experience of successfully managing significant sized projects.
*Proven experience of business and systems analysis and techniques.
*Proven experience in carrying out detailed review of an organisation's requirements and processes, and implementing systems which meet these requirements.
*Significant experience in writing queries and building complex reports by using MS SQL or SSRS turning data into clean, accurate reports of management information and performance statistics.
*Northgate Housing Management system and or TotalMobile repairs management systems
*Demonstrable experience of developing the use of IT systems.
*Significant experience in researching a subject area and producing clear, accurate and concise reports from the data.
