Job description: My client, a local authority based in the West Midlands are looking for a Operations Officer to join their team. This is on a full-time basis, through a temporary agency contract.

The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate and control the resources necessary to carry out designated work such as inspections, scheduling, planning etc.

The role involves:
Managing contractors and overseeing their performances and monitoring works.
Planning materials delivery, joinery & plant for projects
Perform pre inspections of repairs on properties
Develop Health & Safety plans for construction projects.

Candidates will have a degree in a relevant discipline and will have IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
