Job description: Operations Support Officer, Birmingham. Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Operations Support Officer based in Birmingham.

Reporting to the Home Works Senior Operations Support Officer, the Operations Support Officer will be responsible for the operational and administrative support for a team of Trade Engineers, Supervisors, Surveyors and Managers.
Primarily the role involves the scheduling of repairs appointments using Kirona DRS (Opti-time) and our housing management system MIS Active H.

A key success measure for the role is creating maximum efficiency and ensuring key performance indicators are maintained by ensuring repairs appointments are kept, and that repairs are completed "right first time".

The post holder is required to support other functions such as liaising with a range of stakeholders; ensuring the effective administration of the service; and support for specific areas of the business including but not limited to external contracts, voids, planned and cyclical works, finance, IT, procurement, and fleet.

The post holder requires a clear understanding of repair service processes, goals and targets; and the ability to be able to redeploy resources to meet such targets. Also required is the ability to undertake customer satisfaction exercises, complaint resolution and identify service or system shortcomings, or abuse, and highlight these to management for action.
