Job description: Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an Organisational Development Specialist to be based in Wakefield.

The purpose of the role is to contribute to the design and delivery of people and organisational development products and, thereafter, the management of the change process to embed new OD products and processes across the Force.


-To research, design and deliver OD and change management processes and interventions that support the Force's ambition to be a high performing organisation; to include "People Product" initiatives which foster a learning culture, continuous improvement and development and where DEI is mainstreamed.
-To support specific performance improvement initiatives, e.g. through the implementation of a new total PDR solution and a Skills Analysis methodology, incorporating a knowledge database in order to maximise the application/utilisation of the diverse skill sets within the Force.
-Ensure work streams are integrated with developments within Workforce Planning, Strategic Resourcing, Employee Relations, Learning & Organisational Development and Talent Management to provide integrated and holistic OD and people improvement products to the Force.
-Design and develop OD policies and procedures in line with Force strategy, advising and influencing stakeholders to drive improvement in practices.

Qualifications & Experience:
-An OD qualification, or equivalent professional knowledge gained through experience working
within OD or as an HR generalist with an OD focus.
-Able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of theory and good practice in key areas: - Organisation development particularly around change management and developing organisational culture - Learning & Development, particularly management development and talent management.
-Track record in delivering successful OD projects and supporting major organisational change; influencing, building and sustaining relationships at all levels in order to achieve results.

It would be an advantage to be a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
