Job description: Role: Personal Assistant to the Director
Location: Newark, NG24 1BY
Work pattern: 37 hrs - Mon - Fri,
Start date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing

I'm looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to the Director of a local Housing Association. You will be responsible for providing responsive and positive personal support to assist the director in the delivery of a complex and dynamic role; this will include attendance at meetings, coordination and support in the management of delivery activities, initiation of action, dealing with queries, enquiries and mail.

Key Responsibilities
* To provide a highly effective executive support to the director including an involvement with highly confidential and sensitive matters.
* To provide deal with all communication written or over the phone on behalf of the director, providing advice and guidance, dealing with queries, enquiries and mail.
* To write structured and concise correspondence.
* You will prepare agendas, take meeting minutes and reproduce accurate meeting records.
* To undertake research, investigations and complete a compilation and summary or findings.
* Update and maintain performance management systems.
* To manage the directors diary.
* Complete any other ad hoc administrative duties.

Experience/Qualification:
* To have a comprehensive experience as an personal assistant or a similar position.
* To have experience working for a large customer focused and publicly accountable organisation.
* To have extensive experience working with software packages including Microsoft Office packages.
* To hold/be able to demonstrate RSA 1 typing or equivalent - 60 wpm.
* To possess 3 A levels and 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
