Job description: Job Title: Personal Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time Only (37 Hours per week)
Salary: £16491.00 - £21268.00
Location: Solihill, B37

My client are looking experienced Personal Assistant to provide a confidential, comprehensive administrative support service to their Executive Management Team (EMT)

Candidates should have an excellent telephone manner and Customer Care skills and the ability to prioritise their workloads. In addition, candidates must be computer literate and have a good knowledge of, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point. They must have the ability to learn quickly, adhere to deadlines and to communicate and liaise effectively, both in writing and verbally with tenants, other officers, and departments, members of the public, political representatives, external organisations and agencies as necessary.

Knowledge of the public sector, its networks, partners and political sensitivities and previous experience of acting in a confidential personal assistant environment is highly desirable.

The first part of the role involves providing administration support to the Procurement Team including filing, scanning, record keeping, document creation and maintenance of the intranet webpages. It is important to note that this role will initially involve a high volume of filing and scanning works to assist with a backlog.

The second part of the role involves provision of a Personal Assistant service to the Head of Asset Management and Development. This is a more dynamic, reactive role which involves handling a high volume of calls and emails, diary management and maintaining a professional and confidential approach at all times.

As this job combines two roles, the successful candidate will be highly organised, with the initiative to plan and deliver their workload according to the needs of the Procurement and EMT.
