Job description: Job title: Personal Assistant
Location: Nottingham (NG2)
Start Date: January 2019
Salary: £22,000
Contract Type: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 37 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday, 09:00am - 05:00pm

Job Purpose

To provide first class, confidential and proactive secretarial and administrative support service to the Directors in the Resources Directorate and:

Maintain an overview of issues within the directorate and either deal with these personally, or bring matters to the attention of the Directors or Business Support Manager as appropriate
Build relationships across internal departments to deliver outcomes and ensure the department delivers on its priorities
To assist the directors in the smooth running of the office.


Experience of providing a comprehensive PA service to several directors, including word processing, diary and email management, organising meetings, booking travel and accommodation.
Ability to take minutes ensuring actions are monitored and followed up and prepare, collate and distribute relevant documentation.
Well organised with the ability to manage changing circumstances and tight deadlines.
Experience of working as part of a team and providing support across different locations.
