Job description: Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a placements Team Manager in Croydon

We are looking for an individual with direct and demonstrable experience, as a manager of staff team, leading an Adult social care micro commissioning team and with a strong background of excellent negotiating skills with an underpinning understanding of Local Authority funding, contracting and placements/brokerage. We are looking for someone whose essential knowledge includes such things as local Authority funding, contracting and monitoring, all legislation relevant to the purchase and provision of social care and an understanding of relevant regulatory social care CQC national minimum standards. The individual must be able an effective communicator, who has the ability to work on their own initiative and with the ability to provide sound advice and guidance to service providers, staff members and Council staff.

You will need Skills and willingness to work with people in. stressful circumstances.

Experience in IT systems.

An ability to work independently and act on own initiative'.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Willingness to enhance and improve skills through supervision and training.
